This live, three-hour web seminar is designed for health care professionals who are directly responsible for the care of patients requiring Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) during transport. The program will include a review of the theory of intra-aortic balloon counterpulsation (IABC) therapy, followed by a discussion of the technical aspects of the Getinge IABP and the IAB catheter. Troubleshooting the alarms and advisories in the transport setting will also be discussed.
